Health Net Providing $256,000 Grant to Help Improve the Patient Experience in L.A. County
Grant will provide funding for a van to help Serra Community Medical
Clinic patients get to and from physician appointments, as well as for
building improvements
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Health Net of California, Inc., a subsidiary of Health
Net, Inc. (NYSE: HNT), is providing a $256,000 grant to Serra
Community Medical Clinic that will provide funding for a
wheelchair-accessible van to help its patients get to and from their
physician appointments, as well as for building improvements to help
improve access to medical care and the patient experience.

only patients’ access to care, but their experience and satisfaction

Besides the van for transporting patients to and from the Serra
Community Medical Clinic in Sun Valley (Los Angeles County), Kalioundji
said the grant will be used to install automatic sliding entry doors and
expand and renovate examination rooms to help improve clinical care.
